Stained Glass

I'm always intrigued when I realize an area of change in my life. I used to have ZERO appreciation for stained glass. And then, mysteriously over the last five or six years, I've been moved by the intricacy and beauty and creativity and hard work that it takes to pull together such a work-of-art.

So Saturday, at Denise's graduation, I glanced across the courtyard and saw this:

Beautiful, isn't it?

{it's a bit hard to tell but the glass was a beautiful baby-blue with a twist of white}

And since I'm at it, I thought I'd throw in another recent picture I took:

I do remember you saying years ago that you really didn't like stained glass windows. I grew up in a church with beautiful scenes in the windows in the auditorium. On Sunday mornings it was wonderful seeing the sun shining through the windows. The pictures came alive.

Glad you have changed your mind.
